Those who are impressed by displays of status, power, flash, or waving money around don’t yet see the value in the qualities those actions show are lacking in that person…humility and gratitude. If a person doesn’t value your good qualities, it doesn’t mean they’re not important. They’re just not important to that person, and probably not present in them because of that.”
