Thought for the Week

“Our attention spans may have been caught up in the pressures of chasing faster, bigger, more, and new, but our souls have known all along that achievement of any of those things bring only temporary satisfaction. Then, the race begins again. They do not bring happiness. Happiness is found in looking at what you have right here, right now, and feeling at peace and appreciative of it all. Striving to improve is an excellent pursuit as long as it doesn’t take away from the fulfillment of the present moment. Those who find happiness at every step won’t have a need for any top. Those who will only be happy at the top will only seek a new top once they arrive there. Wake up and be awesome. Keep dreaming. Don’t be afraid to love, it’s what we’re all here for. Do what’s in your heart and you won’t have nearly as many regrets. Have the courage to disappoint people if it means being honest because they value your honesty more than your half-hearted approval. Things won’t always be fair, or right, but act as if you were a billion people and have faith that the good you do matters. Every little light brightens up the world, and the only one you can ever shine is your own. Shine bright, do right, love on. “Doe Zantamata
